Counter Notification Procedures

If you believe that your content was removed or access to it was disabled due to a mistake or misidentification, you may file a Counter Notification (the “Counter Notice”) with our copyright agent. The Counter Notice must contain the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. A description of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled, and the location where it appeared prior to removal or disabling.
  3. Sufficient contact information, including your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address (if available).
  4. A statement made under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification.

If the original claimant does not initiate a court action within 10 business days of receiving the Counter Notice, we may restore the removed content.

Please note that submitting a materially false or misleading Counter Notice may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
